Lately I've been feeling unmotivated, and lazy. I goto Boston this weekend for NEW ENGLAND METAL AND HARDCORE FEST, and am excited to finally get away from this place for 4 days. I need to start writing again - I've been bottling shit up for too long, and feel as if any day I'm going to explode.

I am terrible at updating these things.

I am still kicking.

Hectic. Boring. Unmotivated. Inspired. I wouldn't give this place up for the world.

Each day I pray for a little more warmth, a little more sun, and a lot less headaches.

As Bob Dylan put it: "The times they are a changin'"

Ypsi is good. Still trying to find another job. classes are pretty cool except for my philosophy class. I've watch karate kid, and last action hero for the past few weeks now several times on HBO - I swear it's all that's on. Kevin Ballard started jamming with me and brad and the band is actually starting to take shape. What a gay update.

Ypsi is cool. Our place is rad. I bought a big fuckin' He-Man poster for the living room. We have no cable, or internet yet, but that will hopefully be changed by tomorrow - if the wonderful people at comcast don't fuck us over again. I started skateboarding again, bought a ZERO deck yesterday, and camo grip tape because I'm tough. We have lots of beer at our apt., which is pretty rad. Anyways, I been trying to find a job up there - Red Lobster, Barnes and Nobles, Circuit City, etc. Hopefully I get hired soon so I can quit my manly brick laying job. Alright, well, I'm bored, and about to wash my clothes because now I'm an adult...hahaha. Oh yeah, I also got a military haircut...with big porkchops. Peace everyone.

Getting ready to work my last day at Subway, it's like the end of an era there...everyone is leaving. I'll miss all of the friends I've made at the mall, but what the fuck am I talking about? Ypsi is only 25 mins. away. I move out Saturday at around 4. I won't have internet for a few days people and if you're really itching to contact me...please contact me via cell phone. Me and Joey are not going to be getting phone service installed at our house, it's quite pointless. If you don't have my number, then kindly ask. peace out people.

Got a new laptop last week. It's pretty sweet. I got a wireless internet card as well on it so I can talk to you all or update while shitting. Ozzfest Thursday, I'm pumped to see Maiden and Sabbath as well as others. Move out next weekend, excited about that too. Everything seems to finally be falling into place, or so it seems? Anyways, I'm happy,a little tired - but happy nonetheless. Me and Brad started jamming again, and are coming up with another cool jam diggity. Hopefully once I go back to school, I can find some other people interested in playing the same shit we wanna play. Now time for me to rant.

I've been wondering lately since I work at the mall and see the dazzling array of dickwads: what's up with all of these "hardcore" douchebags getting into old hardcore bands like Blood for Blood, Agnostic Front, Strife, and Minor Threat lately? Gimme a fucking break, you morons act like you discovered these bands yourself when punk and REAL hardcore kids were listening to them while you were listening to 89x. The scene is stagnant and I love it - I hope all of you douchebags burn in hell while listening to Throwdown as Satan pounds your ass from behind because you view music as a novelty, and access to being popular. Get a life, faggots. Music isn't about how tight you can get your jeans around your nuts, or how much your nipples poke out of your little sisters t-shirts. Eventually, you'll all grow up and see my point - at least the majority of you will. As for the rest of you pieces of shits, may God have mercy on your wretched, pathetic, conforming soul for being a clone all of your life. To all of you "scene" bitches, your black/blonde dyed hair do not make you look any different from the wench right next to you. E! Fashion Alert is calling they want their gaudy, obnoxious jewelry and piercings back. Also, it would be appreciated if you stop taking photo-highlights of your day such as the ride to the gas station with your mom, or friend -making annoying faces at the mall as you sit in the foodcourt for hours upon end until your mother comes and picks you in her soccer-mom van. You all are idiots, and I can't wait to leave. Goodbye, farewell, and hope you die. -Mgt.

I move out in t-minus 26 days! I'm pretty excited. My birthday went pretty good, I got all household supplies. Jeeze, I can't believe I'm actually excited to get household supplies for my birthday. Everything is going good, I feel a bit burned out from working so much. I really wish I could spend more time, especially since I'm moving away soon, with my friends, my girlfriend, family, and the things I love like music and my newly rising band. All in due time though, I'll be cutting down my work schedule by a lot once school starts, and my classes aren't all clumped together...so that is something to look forward to. I recently got a membership at Hollywood Video and should slap myself in the face for sticking with blockbuster for so long - seriously, their selection is beautiful. I've, no joke, rented about 15 movies in 2 weeks - it's all I do now. This increased movie watching has thus reignited the flame in my heart of going to directing school, but reality hits like a brick. Someday. We can all dream right? Ugh, but I am just so tired of working, and having things to do...I really cherish the times I can sit down, and relax knowing that I have noting to do. A lot of people take their freetime for granted, and I have in the past, but looking back now I just think - wow, I can't believe I wasted so much time doing nothing. I guess you can all see that I am excited to get out, and have a bit more time to do things I enjoy. On another note, I took Jessica out for sushi on Friday as a part of her birthday present - and it was enjoyable. I also finally rented Deer Hunter, a spectacular movie, and Death Race 2000 which was great for a low budget film. Also, the movie Zombie by Lucio Fulci is completely over rated - nothing like the "Dead" series. Didn't even have much gore, which it is mostly credited for. Plus, a zombie fighting a shark and tearing off its fin? Come on Fulci, get real. I'll give it a 4/10. Heavy Metal: 6/10, Darkness: -6,000/10, Deer Hunter: 10/10, Death Race 2000: 7/10, I Bury the Living: 5/10, 2001- A Space Odyssey: 9/10, The Aviator: 9/10, The Time Machine (2000 version, by mistake): -600/10, Unforgiven: 9/10, A Very Long Engagement: 8/10. etc, etc, etc. I'll update you with more movies as I rent them. Anyways, hope you enjoyed my novel of an entry. Take care everyone.

So, I got extremely trashed the other night, and saw the devil? Cool. Other than that, Joey passed out in my bathroom with no shirt on...saying he was "going pee". I also finally ventured into the "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" Barn out in my neighbors back yard, heavily intoxicated with others. I can't say I remember much, but I wish I did...I always wanted to know what it's like in there, and of course the one time I go in - I forget it. My parents have been in Florida since Thursday, it's been fun. Just been chilling out, relaxin. It's nice being alone, although lonely at times, but enjoyable because I just like the peace and quiet. I got a ticket to the midnight showing of Revenge of the Sith and I'm pretty fricken pumped about that. I've dedicated the next few days to watch the whole saga to kind of refill the gaps created over the past few years from not watching them. Pretty excited about the new one, it looks to be probably the best one - although topping Empire Strikes Back is almost impossible no matter what. Yep, well...I'm bored now. Bye.

What is up with all of these badass tours this summer?
(1) Ozzfest is probably the best I've ever seen it. IRON MAIDEN, SHADOWS FALL, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, BLACK SABBATH, AS I LAY DYING, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, THE HAUNTED, ROB ZOMBIE, MASTADON, etc.
(2) MEGADETH'S GIGANTOUR featuring: Megadeth, Dillinger Escape Plan, Nevermore, Dream Theater, and Fear Factory.
(3) SOUNDS OF THE UNDERGROUND featuring: UNEARTH, LAMB OF GOD, POISON THE WELL, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, GWAR, etc.

Man, I hope I have enough money to attend every single one of these tours, but mostly Ozzfest for Maiden. Hit me up if you wanna come, and maybe we can plan it out.

So, school ended. I believe I did pretty good, which hopefully will help the process of bringing my GPA back up from last semesters complete fuckups. Been playing with the band, finishing up the shit for our EP. We're ordering our shit through VGkids, and Oasis CD replication - about $900 - expensive, but should look awesome. Liz is giving us some of her art to use for the booklet and everything. We basically just dropped the stuff, and started recording at Matts. The results were much better from those of Brads (most likely our fault though from messing around with it too much). We only kept Vivalean on the cd, everything else is new - and sounds like melodic metal - At The Gates, Darkest Hour, Unearth kind of stuff. I'm impressed I must say, and I'm proud to say we're playing the music we wanna play. No offense to grindcore or anything, because I like it, but it just seems like every band is going down the grindcore path these days. Personally, I just dig listening to and playing music that isn't completely devoid of melody, that has structure, and when you listen to for the first time isn't in one ear and out the other. I like Grindcore, but I just think it's the next big thing now, and pretty soon it's gonna die, and something else is going to take its place. Since schools out, I have to get a full time job, which means quitting Subway. I think I'm going to apply for this place in Plymouth. You clean around houses, outside mind you, and the work schedule is 8-5, 5 days a week. $10/hr. so that's cool. I move into my apartment on August 14th, which I can't wait for. Ugh, well sorry for that completely random update, but have fun people. I'll update again soon.

I realized that I updated my journal ONCE during the month of March...pathetic, I know. I just got back from working a 17 hour day...no joke. How am I not dead tired? I mean, I'm tired...more wired I guess. I wanted to go out tonight, but as you can see it didn't work out. oh well, next weekend. So, anyways, nothing new is going on. Me and Joey pretty much got our apps. accepted from Riverdrive Apts. in Ypsilanti. Our move in date is August 14th, which is pretty badass - I'm super excited. School ends in about 3 weeks, and I think I did pretty good this semester - especially in French...which I'm surprised. I have to get a full-time job during the summer to help save up some cash along with my student loans I will be taking out for my housing. Shit, this entry is really fucking boring - sorry guys. I'm hungry. And Thirsty...and yep, now I'm tired. I'll update again in a month.
